Is Black Friday the best time to buy a new cell phone plan?

It’s all well and good finding the best Black Friday cell phone plan deals, but is Black Friday the right time to upgrade your cell phone plan at all? Cell phone plans last for a couple of years in most cases, so you’re going to be stuck with it for a while. This means you shouldn’t rush into a new cell phone plan unless you’re sure it’s right for you. What we’re expecting to see on Black Friday

We’re seeing hefty discounts on the entire range of current gen smartphones including the iPhone 13, Samsung Galaxy S21 and Google Pixel 6 to name but a few. Lots of phones did come out earlier in the year. So expect these deals to keep coming through the Cyber Week period. This means manufacturers and cell phone providers will be looking to shift some stock in time for next year’s models, which makes Black Friday thru Cyber Monday the perfect time to snag a deal on a current gen handset. That said, the new iPhone 13 and Pixel 6 were only released relatively recently so expect their older models to get even better deals.
