We don’t have much by way of aristocratic alcoholic beverages in TS4, so it makes sense to turn to custom content for it. After all, wine glasses and wine bottles are a great way to spice up a plain build! Check out our favorite options below.
1. Flavie Bar Set (Part 2 – Clutter) by Syboubou
Check Out This CC Part 2 of Syboubou’s Flavie Bar set contains clutter items that you’d normally see at a bar; cocktail shaker, corkscrew … and a whole bunch of drinking glasses. Five, to be exact! There’s a glass for burgundy wine, a glass for dessert wine, a glass for white wine, and so on. It’s a bit excessive but, hey. If we can have three different forks at a dinner setting, why can’t your Sim have five different glasses?
2. Glasses Set ‘KL’ Coaster by BuffSumm
Check Out This CC How about some unconventional wine glasses for Sim’s who prefer the modern, odd contemporary, and slight avant-garde aesthetic? This set of drinking glasses has a thicker, more angular look to it. Lined up, the overall effect is pretty cool! Plus they come with their own glass coaster. Talk about chic!
3. Olive Juice Glass Bar Set by DOT
Check Out This CC This Olive Juice Glass Bar Set by DOT contains 24 new meshes; 20 of which are “Contemporary Glassware” for your Sim’s home. When they’re not lined up, the difference is subtle. But for true wine connoisseurs, I’m certain the distinction between silhouettes is important. And hey; there are worse things than having 20 stemmed drinking glasses lying around. Plus, this set includes decorative olives!
4. Lawrence Glass Bokals 02 by Severinka_
Check Out This CC Part of Severinka_’s Lawrence Dining Room set, these simple – but still classy! – wine glass is as straightforward as they come. No golden rims, artistic detailing, glass coasters, or avant-garde silhouettes here; no sir! Just a single, long-stemmed wine glass for your Sims to pour, sip, and swirl their Pinot Noir, Merlot, or Cabernet Sauvignon in.
5. Iron Glass of Wine by wondymoon
Check Out This CC No, I’m fairly certain this wine glass is made of regular, transparent glass. The Iron in the name comes from the custom dining room set that it’s a part of. Unlike the previous items, this custom glass already has some alcohol in it! Great for cluttering up dining tables at dinner parties in full swing. You can even choose the wine; deep, rich red, pale tangerine, and sparkly, bubbly yellow (which is probably white wine, but I can’t be too sure).
6. Modern Romantics Set by drgreenie100
Check Out This CC This set is a mix of usable furniture and table décor. As you can probably guess, we’re after the décor. Specifically the three sophisticated wine glasses. Although I guess one of them is more a champagne flute than a wine glass. But I do love that even the flute has two ‘filled’ swatches and one ‘empty’ swatch like the two wine glasses do. Makes the set more cohesive that way!
7. Black White Dining – Wine Glass + Wine Bottle by ung999
Check Out This CC Like wondymoon’s Iron Glass of Wine, ung999’s wine glass already has some liquid poured and ready for tasting. Your Sim can choose either white wine or red, as per usual. And to further set the scene, you can pair the wine glasses with the creator’s custom wine bottles from the same dining set! Download the Black White Dining – Wine Bottle here.
8. The Crystal Glass Set by Dark Diamond Sims
Check Out This CC Colorful crystal decanters will never not look expensive. They bring to mind lavish parlors of the 80s and 90s, with walls made of dark mahogany and furniture trimmed with actual gold. Nowadays, a crystal decanter set might not be that hard to acquire, but it still looks good. Case in point? This Crystal Glass Set. I don’t know if the light ombre overlays of the drinking glasses make them look more or less expensive, but they’re stunning regardless!
9. Simmer Down Wine Rack by RAVASHEEN
Check Out This CC This is literally one of the cleverest custom storage ideas I’ve encountered. I mean, I’ve seen this done in real life, but I’ve never seen a TS4 iteration of it—until now! RAVASHEEN’s Simmer Down wine rack allows you to hang decorative wine glasses virtually anywhere in your kitchen. Sure, they’ll only attach to kitchen cabinets from the same set, but that still leaves you with a lot of design and customization options!
10. Oh la la! by Syboulette
Check Out This CC This wee bit racy set by Syboulette contains some beautifully crafted items you can use to furnish an expensive lounge bar; choice damask wallpaper, booth seats, spotlights, and – of course – alcohol bottles. Nine of them, in fact! Exclusive bars definitely have one or two bottles of the good stuff, so it’s safe to assume that there’s perfectly sensible wine mixed in with the whiskey and tequila meshes. The CC set even has a chic-looking wine bottle shelving unit your Sim can use to store the bottles.
11. New Year Champagne Glass by BuffSumm
Check Out This CC Okay, so. This isn’t a wine glass. But in the context of custom drinking glasses used exclusively for alcoholic beverages, I’d say they’re pretty close. Plus, I really like the flute’s design! It’s tall, slender, and has geometrical patterns around the ring. It’s totally eye-catching in a sexy, non-obnoxious way. You can also pair it with the custom New Year Champagne bottle from the same set, if you want.
12. Arden Champagne Décor by SIMcredible!
Check Out This CC The title says champagne, but I know those wide, long-stemmed glasses. Those are cocktail glasses at best and really short wine glasses at worst, so. This piece is staying on the list. I also really like the visuals of a champagne/wine bottle in a bucket. It’s pretty unique!
13. On Cloud Wine Bottle by RAVASHEEN
Check Out This CC This custom wine bottle by RAVASHEEN has cute labels to match its cute name. I’m not sure if they’re based off actual wine labels and brands, but I do appreciate how they’ve all been properly Simlishified. There are eight varieties (read; swatches) of the bottle, and I will say; the metallic sheen makes the colors look gorgeous.
14. Barefoot Variety DECO by Afrosimtric Sims
Check Out This CC Well, aren’t these the most festive little wine bottles I ever did see? Seriously, though; the colored-glass-and-neck combo is really doing it for me. It brings to mind really lively and jazzy holiday parties, like a New Year’s ball or a post-Christmas rooftop shindig. The labels aren’t in Simlish, but they do look ever-so chic!
15. Wine O’Clock Dining Set by Chicklet45368
Check Out This CC The custom cabinet in this set is based off of an actual chalkboard cabinet (which the creator sources in the description). The IRL-to-TS4 transformation is scarily accurate, and I think the creator deserves mad props for that! The other item of note in this set (that got me giggling) is the Uncork and Unwind sign. Very Instagrammable.
